The Science Faculty at Benalmadena International College is where the magic happens!
We learn to turn flames green, how to make elephants’ toothpaste and we have eureka moments at every twist and turn.
It’s not always obvious that science shapes our daily lives, but the fact is science impacts on countless decisions we make each day; from managing our health and well-being, choosing paper over plastic at the supermarket or answering a child who asks why the sky is blue.
Science at Benalmadena International College taps into our students’ natural curiosity and their desire to create and work in practical ways.
Through learning in the sciences, our students develop their interest in, and understanding of, the living, material and physical world. They engage in a wide range of collaborative investigative tasks, which allows them to develop important skills to become creative, inventive and enterprising adults in a world where the skills and knowledge of the sciences are needed across all sectors of the economy.
At Benalmadena International College we teach general science to key stage 3, International GCSEs to key stage 4 and A Levels in discrete sciences to key stage 5.
