School Policies

The Benalmádena International College takes its responsibilities in looking after and educating your children, extremely seriously. This is underpinned by a series of policies designed to keep your children safe and to ensure that they get the most out of their time with us. A selection of these policies are detailed below and in our relentless quest for improvement, are updated regularly. SEN Policy

The SEN policy details our procedures and  how we aim to support our students who may need additional educational support.


The student handbook indicates all the rules and regulations that a student must follow while being a part of The Benalmádena International College. 

First aid

The first aid policy indicates how the school handles minor and major accidents. 

Safeguarding Policy

Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children refers to the process of protecting children from maltreatment, preventing the impairment of health or development, ensuring that children grow up in circumstances consistent with the provision of safe and effective care and taking action to enable all children to have the best outcomes. 

EAL Policy

This policy outlines our school’s practice and procedures relating to the support offered to EAL students who find it difficult to access the school curriculum. This policy has also been written to support our teaching and learning team at BIC.
