Pre school children learn through play and other educational activities. We offer plenty of opportunity for this, and the children often join in with the reception class.

Lessons in the reception class follow the English National Curriculum and also include Spanish lessons.

School starts at and finishes at 16.00.

Literacy and Numeracy are the key issues at this stage, and a full programme can be obtained from the school. Children also enjoy lessons in Drama, Art, I. T., Spanish and P.E. Classes start at 09.05 and finish at 16.00. Maximum number of students for each class is 20.

The Rainbow Class is for children aged between 5 and 11 years who have moderate learning difficulties and require a multi-sensory curriculum.

Our main policy at this level is to make sure that all students reach their full potential and are therefore set individual goals.

All subjects are governed by the English National Curriculum, although some topics will reflect the culture and environmental aspects of living in Spain, making this a full balanced and enjoyable education.

Maximum number of students in each class is 20.

Students study subjects complying with Key Stage 3 of the English National Curriculum. These subjects are Art, English, French, Geography, History, I. T. , Mathematics, Science, Spanish and Sports.

The classes are small (maximum number of students 20) so individual attention can be given to all students and a record of their achievement recorded.

French is introduced in Year 7 as an additional language.

The I. G. C. S. E's that can be studied in these two years are Art, Business Studies, English, English Literature, French, Geography, History, I. T., Mathematics, Spanish and Co-ordinated Sciences (the Science course is worth two I. G. C. S. E's).
